4962-1 PARSIFAL - ACT II

I had the privilege of seeing them sing this at the Met; this may be the same or a different performance. The singing and drama are incredible, and this Act II is by far the best part of the performance despite Kurt Moll's magnificent Gurnemanz. The rest of it was simply too slow, despite the beauty of the singing and playing, and it lacked flow. But Act II was about as good as could be imagined, and I only wish it were videotaped, since their acting was as great as their singing -- in their late 50s!
