Encores! triumphs again

Twenty years after her legendary performance in the Encores! production of ‘One Touch of Venus’, Melissa Errico is touching as the lonely Leona Samish looking for love in Venice in another wonderful Encores! presentation. This is a semi-staged production with the orchestra prominent on the stage. Well-filmed with the odd blackout and ‘wobble’ this is a good representation of the show. (Can anyone tell me why people always have to cough loudly in the theatre?)
