A good, modern dress production with no blemishes in picture or sound. I could not give it 5 stars, however, as the picture is not as well focused as is now normal, and at times the singers voices were struggling with the orchestra. I guess that Santa Fe can be regarded as a second tier opera center and all facets were a little less than the recordings we see and hear from the major centers.
