DVD 10878 ROMEO & JULIET (Prokofiev)

This is the choreography of Yuri Grigorovich. The Romeo and Juliet created by Alexander Volchkov and Anna Anna Nikulina didn't just have the superior Russian ballet techniques. They were very convincing as teenager lovers hell bent to be together. The orchestra was very powerful and effective. The staging was grand and showcased very well Bolshoi's grandeur. If you have never seen a Bolshoi ballet's production, this would be a very good first one to watch.
