Boyashov. Ballet. 06.07.2025. St. Petersburg.Premiere of the ballet for the 225th anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin
The legendary production by Vaganova's favorite student Irina Safonova returns, interpreted by world ballet stars Farukh Ruzimatov, Igor Kolb, and accompanied by the famous Andreevsky Orchestra. The new, one-of-a-kind ballet based on the familiar fairy tale by Alexander Pushkin is eagerly awaiting its audience!
The artistic design of the ballet uses high-tech multimedia scenery, which allows the most daring ideas to be realized: the sea is rough, silver fish sparkle, everything comes to life right before the eyes of the audience. And the original costumes are made according to sketches by the People's Artist of Russia Ivan Glazunov-Benois.
The music was written especially for the folk orchestra by Shostakovich's student, Vladimir Boyashov. The combination of the live sound of the folk orchestra, the immortal fairy tale plot, classical choreography and luxurious scenography will create a real miracle - a magical story that is ready to conquer your hearts!
Choreographer - Nikolai Androsov. The part of the Golden Fish is performed by the soloist of the St. Petersburg Children's Ballet Theatre Olesya Gapienko.
