0124-1 SAMSON ET DALILA (Saint-Saens) Excerpts

Both principal singers complained about Stoki's balance between singers& Orch. While the singers can be adequately heard, the orchestra palette is really sumptuous. The performance of excerpts is really special. Sound is Monno and good. The real reason to get this is for the Bacchanal and the final scene. Especially the dance wich is played with such abandon that every other performance sounds very timid.
